Our Founder and Chief Scientific Officer, Steve Trim received good news on the acceptance of the publication of a novel book chapter in Progress in Medicinal Chemistry. The chapter is titled “Utilisation of compounds from venoms in drug discovery” – view the preview here.

This chapter highlights the challenges in drug discovery faced by many researchers and industries today, particularly as a result of difficult drug targets. The venom systems that have evolved from snakes, spiders, scorpions, jellyfish, wasps, fish and even mammals contain molecules which are proven to be useful tools.
